12:03 am: Extreme Weather!

We had a couple of tornadoes the last two days, plus a lot of flooding. Loki and Junie kept rushing to see who could get into the carrier in the closet first because they won't share it. I'm thinking I may just need to put in two cat bed pads and put the carrier back in the storeroom. I have to make a lot of doctor appointments on Monday, some for little things, but I'm having more of the little seizures.

I'm down to 12 days of newspapers which is better than before -- I'm just staying home more, which is one of the reasons I haven't seen the doctors yet. I've read a batch of books and plan to post those next.

If something exciting happens, I'll post.

I hope the tornadoes didn't come *too* close.

Maryland had seven and we definitely had two -- one in northern VA and one in southern -- and weather people are looking at the funnel clouds we had.

And on my way back from the grocery, I heard a lot of sirens and saw a big black cloud heading for the sky in Old Town here. I was very tempted, but it would be inappropriate to go drive by just to find out where it is. Google isn't giving me anything yet.

Ah, I found this -- I saw it on TV -- it's here in Manassas, although I can't quite tell where it is. Cool clouds, huh?

I'm glad you posted. I know the weather has been unstable in your area and, in general, I always worry a bit about you when I haven't heart from you in a while.

I'm off to Bead & Button Show next week, but I have my laptop. I look forward to seeing what your book reviews will be.

I've seen ads for B&B, I'm sure you'll have a good time! Is that a bug in your picture, and did you make it?

I really forget about being online or I just don't get enough time. I'm sleeping a lot and not so worried about it since it's normal for fibro.

No bug, it is a bronze and coral agate with rubies pendant that I made a couple of years ago :-)

I know I'll have a wonderful time at B&B. Now that I'm set to leave early tomorrow, I'm totally psyched :-)

Have a phenomenal week.

You do have extreme weather, tornadoes and flooding. That's a little too much. Hope it's better and more settled by now.
Not surprised that the cats won't share the carrier. Our dogs stayed far away from each other for years and only in the last few years would they hang out in the same dog house. We're down to one (outdoor) dog now and I'm not sure how much longer he'll be around.
Let us know, please, how the doctor's appointments turn out.
Take good care of yourself,
Doris

We had a short bit of thunderstorms today -- short enough that when they stopped, the parking lot fumed for about 20 minutes and was dry in another 20 minutes. My porch still had some rain about half-an-hour ago.

I haven't managed to make appointments yet. I've been having particularly off-kilter sleeping, more than usual for me, and the appointment people are never working when I'm awake.
